| They completely screwed Korea up.
How so? Well, the japanese didn't think that taking over the korean territory by military force wasn't enough, so they started to erradicate korean culture. They forbade the speaking of the korean language, forced the koreans to adopt japanese names, and stole several cultural objects from the country.
Now why do you think North Korea threatens Japan with nukes? |

| How does the elimination of a culture equate to a German Empire that was 10x more successful than Japan. _________________ Thor, Odin's son, protector of mankind, ride to meet your fate, your destiny awaits Thor, Hlôdyn's son, protector of mankind, ride to meet your fate, Ragnarök awaits

The main difference here is that Japan would help South Korea in the event of a North Korean invasion. Not because they like South Korea, but because they don't want North Korea to become more powerful by gaining more territory. Although, North Korea can't really win a war against SK if SK has allies helping them, as proved by the Korean War. |

I didn't say it was the equivalent in all aspects. But the policies both governments held towards specific races and cultures were rather harsh, and intolerant. |

| Grim. You know what I mean. Japan never accomplished a victory after Midway in 1942 while Germany still encountered victories across Europe. _________________ Thor, Odin's son, protector of mankind, ride to meet your fate, your destiny awaits Thor, Hlôdyn's son, protector of mankind, ride to meet your fate, Ragnarök awaits
